This fonds contains material from Edmond Baudoin, who illustrated a book which included Leó Szilárd as a protagonist. Szilárd, after whom the EMBL Szilárd Library is named, was involved in the early development of EMBO, the European Molecular Biology Organization, which went on to found EMBL.
